A Better Way to Trade - Computerised Trading Strategies

Matthew's focus as a private trader and advisor is the on-going development of computerised trading strategies. Using programming languages such as QBasic, Visual Basic, and C++ he has developed and back-tested trading entry and exit signals to generate recommendations for trading the financial markets. Unlike many other software applications on the market today, his trading strategies are not optimise or curve fitted to suit a particular market characteristic.  When you trade with his signals you know that you are trading a correctly back-tested market strategy. 

Matthew as a private trader profited from trends in the markets.  He originally used both fundamental and technical analysis methods, but found that the profits generated from using these methods are only small when taking into consideration the amount of research work required to make a successful trade.  Matthew started to look for a better way.  He concentrated on computerised back-testing methods to find the best trend-following techniques to efficiently trade the markets.

The strategies are implemented on Shares, Exchange Traded Options, SPI200, Commodities, Currency and Bond Futures, as well as index options. Option trading services also include pricing and modeling, as well as incisive risk analysis.  Another benefit of computerised strategies is that you can very easily monitor multiple markets for trading opportunities.

Matthew Corica has been personally trading for over 15 years and has extensive experience advising both professional and new traders.  Matthew is the Managing Director of Titan Securities Pty Ltd and is licensed for both derivatives (including futures) and equities advising, he holds the derivatives accreditation from the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) for traders who require advice on ASX options and warrants. Matthew holds both a Diploma of Financial Markets and a Diploma of Computer Science.

Matthew's mechanical trading computerised strategies are designed by himself as an experienced trader and advisor.  Many computerised packages on the markets today are written by computer programmers with a basic to medium understanding of the financial markets.  Matthew is an investment professional who has learnt to program for the sole purpose of using his trading experience to create a better way to trade the financial markets.  His programs do not give curve fitted or tailored buy and sell indications.  His programmed strategies analyse the data to give a true opinion (based on past price data) on a particular trading signal and market.  Most times the signals prove to be unprofitable based on the back-testing, the idea of mechanical back-tested computerised strategies is to find what does not work and to pin point and trade what does.
